Rite-Forms and Its Founder
An HVAC tradesman since Tech School in 1980, Rite-Forms founder, John Rocheleau, used the Time & Materials method in his own HVAC business, and after about ten years, he realized that something was fundamentally wrong.
First, it was the available printed T&M invoice that was a standard from NEBS Forms (now owned by Deluxe).
Then, it was the T&M shortcomings – the fact that there are more than two cost categories in the HVAC trade.
Then, it was the available Job Estimating software that conformed to the T&M method, if you can even call it that.
By 2005, John had had enough. He created an Excel-based Job Estimating Workbook that would evolve into his Quote-Rite Job Estimating and Job Costing Systems, now, in 2023.
In 2006, John created his first Invoice prototype, and by 2012, created his first prototype set of printed business forms. Using those forms for years, in 2013, Quote-Rite and Bill-Rite, and many other Excel workbooks with “Rite” in the name came into being. In 2020, John made Bill-Rite and Quote-Rite even better, based on real world experience using these forms in his own HVAC business.
Today, Quote-Rite and Bill-Rite, and others, are available for sale, with all improvements included in the 2023 print edition.
In 2023, both Digital Downloads and Printed Business Forms are available for sale on this site.
